Well... it depends.
If your motors are cardboard then you'r in for some
confetti. I bet the other motors will go off too - due
to the shock impact shattering and cracking the BP
grains in the other adjacent motors. However, they may
fly all over too - stay clear. 
If you use a harder outer layer (PVC shatters into
very sharp fragments!!!) - use a very looooooooooong
electric wire please! 

p.s.
Had a motor change direcitons (twice) and try to hit
me - even with my 1cm diam motors this is no fun...
Especially with metallic "tail" additions!
