Rummaging through my shop awhile back, I found a film-can of 
recrystallized KN/SU that I had made 18 years prior.  Miraculously, I 
found the notebook where I had recorded that batch.  It performed 
exactly as the same as it had when freshly made, at least as far as I 
could tell by burning strands in open air and making a few model-rocket 
sized motors.

Sealed away from air, it keeps quite well.  Exposed to moist air, it 
turns into goo rather quickly.
