The "flat tamp" - pictured and labeled as such in the auction - may be used
for ramming the bulkhead clay IF you opt for no time delay - not likely in
practice but useful for static testing or initial testing of the engines as
"stick rockets".

Also, it is used for the final ramming of propellant once the level has
reached beyond the core spindle tip (including any time delay charge). If a
time delay and ejection charge is used the "porthole tamp" is used for the
forward bulkhead so there is a small hole to allow fire to pass to the
ejection charge after the time delay propellant charge has been consumed.
Also, the engines might be useful for lofting various pyrotechnic payloads
such as stars, etc.

You forgot the bulkhead ram. Or do 3/4"casings require this?

I have made two sets of BP rocket tooling as per details in David Sleeter's
excellent book Amateur Rocket Motor Construction and have posted one set for

sale on eBay (auction link below). I will likely continue to make and sell
such "extra" sets to help offset material costs as my tooling collection
expands so watch for them if you are interested.
