I've milled several hundred lbs, both for rocketry and BP firearms in my day.
For media I purchased 3/4 round brass rod, cut em 3/4" long, and chamfered
the edges. Using a 20 lb mill, I put 4 lbs of brass "pellets" into the drum with
12 lbs of chemicals, and mill for 6 hours, using a 2.5 sulfur content.
BTW, do that outside, in a safe place..
This will be my last post until Monday, I am leaving tomorrow morning to
Denver to give my daughter away, which seems crazy considering how much she cost
me ;-)
......
she's getting married BTW
Have fun and be safe, get stoopid with BP and it can and will put a world of
hurt on ya. Read David's book is what I'm saying, and pay attention..
