[BProckets] Should I Sell Ceramic Milling Media on Ebay?

Thanks for the warning. And I should mention I am relatively new to
this hobby. Still, it seems so unlikely that ceramic media would cause
a spark that would ignite BP. I ALWAYS use a blast enclosure and mill
only small quantities. Plus, who's to say some contaminant didn't sneak
into the mix you mention? I imagine there's not much evidence after
such an incident to help determine the actual cause.

Here's a question: Are there *NOT* any documented incidents of mill
explosions where brass, lead, or perhaps other media was being used?

In closing, there are plenty of other activities I'd rather see banned
in MY state other than a dedicated, safety-minded hobbyist milling some
BP w/ceramic media. :^)

(Doug - if you're anywhere near central PA and hear a big bang please
stop by and help me rebuild my blast enclosure.)

Again, thanks for the heads-up. It's much appreciated.

There is at least one documented incident where ceramic media was used
in a ball mill (milling BP), that ball mill exploded. It has been
reported on both the PML and the r-BP lists. It happened to a a very
experienced Pyrotechnician, who adheres at all safely precautions. If
you intend to purchase and use ceramic media to mill BP, then make sure
that it is done remotely, and not in my State!
