[BProckets] Syringe BP motors

Hi all,
Short update for anyone interested...
Some time ago I tested the idea of polypropylene tubes
as a possible tube for BP motors...
Why? - flexible, transparent and nice looking... + the
curiosity that killed the cat!

My problem was that I didn't have any. I asked a
friend for some out of date syringes (sterile ones -
no blood or something). He gave me some 2.5cc
syringes.

Taking the tip and finger holders off gave me a very
nice straight tube. I rammed in some kitty litter clay
on a metal cone (pen cones is all I have, but they do
nicely). I rammed some BP in and another clay plug.
Testing the motor in an end burner format and core
burner format was very successful.
So far I told you guys all this.

Now I what I did is to try and use the entire syringe
"content": syringe tip as a nozzle (fits just fine as
an end burner - 2mm ID is all I need).
And the plunger is used as an end plug (clipped at the
edge of the syring and with two metal rods going
through drilled holes through the plunger and syringe
tube.

Hence, I rammed in some BP (two engines, both
endburners), about 1.5cc volume and secured the
plunger.

I will launch them in 2 weeks time, and report the
results.
Pics?
I have some...

(there are a few casting cement nozzle test pics there
too... but that's a different topic and I'll write
about that soon!)

I'll try to make some more rocket motors with the old
configuration and take pics as well...
Cheers all,
Flint
